The
Japanese Reiki Techniques (JRT) Workshop
Learn the Reiki exercises
and techniques that were used and taught by Dr.
Usui. Some of these exercises and
techniques are now covered in the Reiki I and II classes, but this has not
always been the case. This one-day intensive is
for Reiki students who want an opportunity to learn and practice these
powerful techniques.
Prerequisite:
Reiki I and II hands on training with a qualified Reiki Master Teacher
The Japanese Reiki
Techniques (JRT) were taught by Dr. Usui, and he considered them a
necessary part of Usui Reiki. They were recently discovered and introduced
to Reiki students in the US. “In addition to increasing the strength of ones
Reiki, they also bring Dr. Usui’s energy more directly into ones presence.“*
Techniques Covered in this Workshop
include:
-
The
Real History of Reiki. This information dispels all the myths and
misinformation about the history of the Usui system of Reiki and establishes
the practice on a solid historical foundation.
-
The Japanese Reiki Techniques (JRT) including:
·
Gassho Meditation. Dr. Usui called this technique the
first pillar of Reiki and he practiced it twice a day.
·
Reiji-ho. Reiji means “indication of the spirit” and is
the second pillar of Reiki. This technique is a way to prepare oneself to give
Reiki.
·
Chiryo. This word means “treatment” and is the third
pillar of Reiki. The kind of treatment Dr. Usui taught relies on ones inner
guidance rather than a predetermined set of hand positions
·
Kenyoko. This word means “dry bathing” and is a technique
for cleansing ones energy before or after a treatment
·
Koki-ho. This is a method that uses the breath and the power symbol or
any of the other symbols to heal.
·
Byosen. The word means “sick line” and is a technique that uses the
sensitivity in the hands to locate areas that need healing
·
Jacki-Kiri Joka-ho. “Jacki” means “negative energy” and “Kiri” means
“to cut”. This is a technique to release and/or transform negative energy from
objects.
·
Enkaku Chiryo. The word “enkaku” means “sending” and
“chiryo” means “treatment”. This is the way Dr. Usui sent distant healing.
·
Gyōshi Ho. Gyōshi
Ho is a method of sending Reiki with the eyes and is another of the Japanese
Reiki techniques.
-
Demonstration and Practice with the Japanese
Reiki Techniques.
